It seems she has one baby that is also a ‘cow’ too, even though it’s a pig! Ha! Confused much? lol.
Next is a lovely little tan and white Peruvian….
and the third is another Rex in chocolate.
We removed them from the house/run where the others were so they don’t get trampled on. I quickly snapped these few photos because it is darker in the shed where the ‘spare cages’ are, and I wasn’t sure of the flash on my borrowed camera. (winks at Baljit Grewal Ph.D.
Also we want Mum to have a good rest and not get pregnant again! I thought I MUST show you these little babies before they go into their big cage for the next few weeks while they are weaning.
These babies should be weaned just in time for our ‘makeover’… and will then be looking for new homes (hint hint). Aren’t they gorgeous? I guess I better tell hubby he’s making another outside run when he’s off work next. Don’t feel sorry for him, we told him 3 weeks ago…. (oh I’m so going to be in the doghouse now ha!) *moves new run to top of list* Enjoy!
They are sooo cute! If I was in NZ, I would take a few :) Lisa
ReplyDeleteIf only all animals could remain as babies! There's nothing cuter, and your new babies are just adorable. We've never owned guinea pigs, my children had hamsters instead. We experienced the joy of one pregnant hamster giving birth, and fell in love with her babies. It was difficult giving them away after they were weaned.
